Okay, it wasn’t as creepy as “Eyes Wide Shut,” no weird music no human sacrifice, no weird voice, no Tom Cruise But there was a macabre element to the Carnevale festivities at Morel’s restaurant within The Grove, Los Angeles, when The Venetian and The Palazzo, Las Vegas brought their vine stilt walkers and Create Your Own Mask Contest on the road. Morel’s can also be found at The Palazzo in Las Vegas. And Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott did the The “Eyes Wide Shut” like masked date night sans kids. But this weekend is little Stella’s b-day. Dean is now the host of Chopped Canada and has been filming in Toronto and was thrilled to be back and to hang with the masked strangers. . . and Tori. Masks or no masks, they do still seem to be smitten.
And speaking of the edgy characters from The Venetian, they also made an appearance at the 12th Annual Crysalis Butterfly Ball at a chic private estate in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 8. Also spotted Max Greenfield of New Girl, Lea Michele, Eric Dane, Colin Egglesfield, Ali Larter (who was just in NYC last week), and Kim Raver.
