Beyoncé and Jay-Z don’t do anything in halves. But if you ever regretted not doing enough for mom, she likely never will. Her mother, Tina Knowles, was just turning 60 they threw a full on Louisiana masked ball in New Orleans. Beyoncé’s gown was by Naeem Khan, a blush v-front caviar-beaded tulle number. The event took place in New Orleans. Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Rowland were also in the house. . . (Beyoncé in AM Eyewear with band) And B hearts New Orleans….
In the sketch, this Emilio Pucci gown has runway attitude, but somehow, Beyonce transforms the dress into a super young and cute look when she wears the custom white embellished cut-out crop top and mini skirt at The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour Houston show on July 16. Image courtesy of Xposure.
And the second dress, also Pucci, looking curvier in real life. Also works.
Peter Dundas, Emilio Pucci Creative Director, worked with Beyoncé to create costumes drawing inspiration from the Fall/Winter 2013-14 Show Collection, reinterpreting the rock goddess theme with fabrics and proportions, which worked with the complexity choreography of the “The Mrs. Carter Show”. “She’s an incredible mix of beauty, artistry and …pure energy,” said Dundas. “Watching her rehearse before our midnight fittings made me want to run home and sketch.”

In the eternal debate whether fashion companies should use supermodels or celebrities, Beyonce just put an end to the argument. H&M must have paid a packet to get B to shill their short shorts, but here she is in an ad for their summer line and she has put Gisele, Kate Moss, Cindy Crawford, Daria, Magdalena and all the new models to shame. The ad not only promotes her Mrs. Carter tour, but even makes me want to run over to H&M to shop. WOW!
